I am a Mother first, Professional Speaker, Creative Content Director, Talk Show Host, Experienced Radio Personality and Transformational Conversationalist. What makes me “The B.7.Ā.V.E. Speaker”?
As a transformative conversationalist, I am an intense listener, a passionate and purpose driven woman and leader. I captivate the audience's attention while engaging in B.7.Ā.V.E., authentic, transparent, real, raw, and healthy conversations. I have those challenging and uncomfortable conversations that are needed, necessary and required to build and develop strong teams, authentic engagement, and transparency for sharing to achieve resolutions and solutions.
I do this while establishing my credibility, building trust, and expanding my relationships with integrity, respect, and inclusion. My clients resolve to take measurable actions to fulfill their passions as they pursue their purpose. This is done by bringing to life the core values of B.7.Ā.V.E. with solutions through your active participation in B.7.Ā.V.E. Manifestations, LLC's programs and services.
My Experience
I have over 25+ years of combined experience as a Single Mother of my son, caregiver, and provider for my 2 siblings and investing and pouring into youth. Combined with being a Case Manager, Case Supervision and Officer, Leadership, Safety, Compliance and Retail and Inventory Management. I am degreed in Criminal Justice/Political Science, Reentry Programs, Services and Compliance, Criminal Justice Policy, and Management, Business Management, Administration and Entrepreneurship.
Prior positions held: Corrections Officer, Sheriff, Parole Officer and Board of Pardons and Paroles Hearing Officer, Safety & Compliance Regional Coordinator, Armored Vehicle Driver Trainer, Internet Syndicated Radio Host and Personality, Trainer and Speaker, Talk Show Owner, Creator, Content Director, Podcaster, and Retail Sales Associate.
Affiliations: University of Houston S.U.R.E. Bauer Program Participant and Graduate, Fort Bend County Entrepreneurial Initiative (FBEI) and Incubator and Accelerator Programs Graduate, Landmark Introduction Leader, Program Participant, Coach, Assistant, Volunteer and Curriculum Graduate, and Women’s Business Center (WBEA) Certificate of Entrepreneurship College Scholarship Recipient.
The Real and Raw Talk Show with Nakia Franklin and Vawn Gretta

After years of friendship this duo came together to create a Talk Show that highlights topics that are current, organic, transparent, authentic and holds integrity, where there is NO JUDGMENT AND NO BOUNDARIES and is nothing less than REAL AND RAW conversations!
Created in just 13 days, these two childhood friends crossed paths continuously throughout the years. On November 10, 2020, they announced their collaboration and in 13 days broadcasted live with their Premier Episode, Monday night, November 23, 2020. While the content, guest and conversations were ever evolving these two ladies hosted a live interactive 1-hour episode every 1st and 3rd Monday night of the month at 8:55 pm cst. to 10:00 pm cst.
At 10:15 pm cst, they returned to the airwaves live with comedian Slappy Payne for some interactive unorthodox fun, laughter, Real Talk and Real Thoughts and to share their thoughts about the night's episode and what they were grateful for. There were NO scripts, there was audience engagement and Raw Conversations! You could only expect the unexpected!!!

Although, I am experienced in numerous areas, I commit myself to the EMPOWERMENT of the Black Professional Single Mother like me. I stand for us to be empowered, loved, respected, acknowledged, and honored. This begins within and I am committed to supporting you, in your journey, as you work towards living your full life as a powerful human being. I have experience in what it is like to be rejected, looked at differently, being paid less than I am worth, having to compromise for the sake of being responsible and passing up opportunities. I have experienced being taken for granted, not shown the respect I deserve and being overlooked when I have supported, empowered, and elevated others.
I know first-hand how it is to live for my child and put myself, my desires, goals, wants, visions, and dreams on the backburner to ensure he has all that he needs and most of what he wants. I know how lonely it can be to raise your child alone and without support: financial, physical, and emotional. I understand what it feels like to long for an equally yoked, invested, and committed partner to share in the daily responsibilities and concerns while having a safe person to confide in and love while being loved authentically.
Our journeys may look different and there are so many similarities that we each share. Additionally, our cultural experiences, teachings and understandings are unique to us as there is uniqueness within other communities and their lives. What I can do, is invest in the success of those women who look like me and who can relate to what we as Black Professional Women, who are Single and Mothers experience.
We may not always be single on this journey of life and while we are single, we will, do desire, and deserve to experience, joy, love, peace, happiness, fulfillment, and wholeness while we manifest the full desires of our lives while living out our divine purposes in this lifetime.
